Senior Business Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and meetings to gather and prioritize requirements.
  • Translate business needs into actionable user stories and technical specifications for development teams.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between business stakeholders and development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work closely with Product Owners to groom the product backlog and prioritize user stories for sprint planning.
  • Serve as a Scrum Master for agile development teams, facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Coach and mentor team members on agile principles, practices, and methodologies.
  • Identify and address impediments to team progress, working proactively to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
  • Monitor project progress and performance metrics, providing regular updates to stakeholders and management.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, tools, and practices to enhance team productivity and project outcomes.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into clear and actionable requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working in an agile environment as a Scrum Master or Agile Team Facilitator.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with agile project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Candidates with experience in the insurance domain would be preferred.
