Business Development Manager - Digital Transformation, Planning & ERP
This role builds and converts new business pipeline for Acentura's Digital Transformation, Planning, and ERP practice, spanning Acumatica (Gold Partner) and SAP (including SAP Business One) implementations, budgeting/forecasting and planning solutions, and broader digital transformation advisory. The BDM identifies, qualifies, and closes opportunities with finance, operations, and IT decision-makers across manufacturing, distribution, financial services, and government/public-sector accounts, working closely with presales consultants through longer, solution-driven sales cycles.
Key Responsibilities
Build and manage a pipeline of digital transformation, ERP, and planning/ Advance planning opportunities across target verticals, including manufacturing, distribution, BFSI, and government procurement (RFP/tender-based).
Lead first-line discovery with prospects to understand current systems, planning maturity, pain points, and transformation goals, and route qualified opportunities into presales for solution design.
Position Acentura's ERP /Advance planning solutions and Digital Transformation services clearly against client needs and competing platforms.
Coordinate with presales and technical teams to produce fit assessments, comparison documents (e.g., Acumatica vs. SAP B1 vs. competitors), demos, and proposals.
Manage RFP and tender responses end-to-end, including government and institutional bids, in coordination with delivery and legal.
Own commercial negotiation and contracting for ERP licensing, planning solution, implementation, and support engagements.
Build long-term relationships with CFOs, COOs, IT Directors, and transformation sponsors to support upsell, renewal, and reference-driven growth.
Track and progress opportunities through Acentura's sales process stages in the CRM with disciplined forecasting.
Support co-go-to-market and partner-led opportunities (e.g., with audit/advisory firms and ERP ecosystem partners).
Feed market and competitive intelligence back into marketing and product positioning.
Qualifications & Experience
6+ years in B2B sales or business development, ideally selling ERP, planning/budgeting software, or digital transformation consulting.
Working knowledge of ERP and planning concepts (finance, distribution, manufacturing modules, budgeting/forecasting) and ability to speak credibly to CFOs/COOs; prior exposure to Acumatica, SAP, or planning platforms is a strong advantage.
Experience managing structured, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, including RFP/tender processes, is highly valued.
Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field; an MBA or sales/marketing qualification is an advantage.
