Acumatica Techno – Functional Consultant
We are looking for an Acumatica Techno – Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation & Project Delivery
- Manage end-to-end Acumatica ERP implementations for clients across Manufacturing, Construction, Retail, and Distribution sectors from discovery through go-live and post-production support
- Conduct business process reviews, gap analyses, and fit/gap workshops with client stakeholders across diverse industry contexts
- Develop and maintain project documentation including BRDs, functional specifications, configuration workbooks, and test plans
Functional Consulting – Multi-Industry
- Configure BOM & Routing, Production Management, MRP, shop floor operations, and production costing- Manufacturing:
- Implement Project Accounting, Change Orders, Cost Codes, Subcontractor Management, Equipment tracking, and AIA billing - Construction:
- Set up POS integration, omnichannel inventory, pricing/promotions, matrix items (size/color), and eCommerce connectivity- Retail:
- Configure multi-location inventory, warehouse management, lot/serial tracking, replenishment, and advanced shipping- Distribution:
- Map client business processes to Acumatica capabilities across all verticals, recommending best-practice solutions tailored to each industry
- Configure core modules, including Financials, Inventory, Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, and CRM, as they intersect with industry-specific requirements
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and lead end-user training sessions
Technical Duties
- Develop customizations, reports, and dashboards using Acumatica's development framework (Acumatica Framework / xRP platform)
- Write and maintain Acumatica Generic Inquiries, pivot tables, and SSRS or ARM reports
- Build and manage integrations with third-party systems (shop floor, construction management, POS, WMS, eCommerce platforms, etc.) using REST/SOAP APIs and the Acumatica integration framework
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, configuration errors, and data migration challenges
- Support data migration activities including data mapping, import templates, and validation
- Provide post-go-live hypercare support and ongoing system optimization recommendations
Candidate Profile
- 3+ years of ERP implementation experience, with at least 2+ years specifically on the Acumatica platform
- Demonstrated experience implementing Acumatica across at least two of the following: Manufacturing Edition, Construction Edition, and Distribution Edition.
- Solid understanding of business processes in multiple industries—such as production planning, project accounting, inventory management, warehouse operations, and retail operations
- Proficiency in Acumatica configuration, Generic Inquiries, and report writing
- Experience with data migration tools and techniques (Excel import, import scenarios)
- Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to facilitate workshops with both technical and executive audiences
- Acumatica Certified Consultant credential (multiple modules preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience across three or more industry verticals (Manufacturing, Construction, Retail, Distribution)
- Knowledge of industry-specific concepts: MRP/MPS planning, AIA billing, WIP accounting, lot traceability, matrix items, POS integration, or WMS workflows
- Familiarity with industry-adjacent systems: shop floor data collection, construction management software (Procore, Viewpoint), eCommerce platforms (Shopify, BigCommerce), or WMS/TMS systems
- Development experience in C#, .NET, or Acumatica customization framework
- Prior experience in a VAR (Value-Added Reseller) or consulting firm environment
- Exposure to additional Acumatica modules: Field Service, CRM, Commerce, or Payroll
- Industry certifications such as PMP, APICS CPIM, or other relevant credentials are a plus
