Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of telecom billing systems.
• Oversee the integration of billing systems with CRM, mediation, provisioning, and payment systems.
• Guide and mentor development teams; ensure adherence to coding and design standards.
• Manage code reviews, system testing, and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot complex issues in production and non-production environments.
• Evaluate and implement enhancements to improve billing system performance and scalability.
• Coordinate with vendors and external partners on system upgrades and integrations.
• Maintain technical documentation and training materials. 

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or Technical Lead role.
• Strong knowledge of billing domains: rating, charging, invoicing, mediation, roaming, and revenue assurance.
• Experience with telecom billing systems is an added advantage.
• Hands-on expertise in software development using Java and related technologies.
• Proficient in working with databases (Oracle, MySQL, etc.).
• Good understanding of BSS/OSS architecture.
• Experience with APIs, microservices architecture, and system integrations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
