We are looking for an Executive – Business Development to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify, research, and approach potential clients through various channels.
Conduct cold calls to generate interest and schedule meetings for the Business Development Team, developing a pipeline of qualified leads.
Visit client sites and participate in face-to-face meetings with potential clients to understand their needs, present tailored solutions, and foster relationships that align with the company's growth objectives.
Assist in preparing customized proposals and presentations for potential clients, ensuring each aligns with their specific requirements and highlights the value of our IT solutions.
Support the creation, management, and distribution of marketing content across platforms to enhance the company’s visibility and engagement.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop materials that reflect our services and resonate with target audiences.
Maintain accurate records of client and prospect interactions, update CRM systems, and prepare sales reports to track activities and outcomes.
Work closely with the Business Development Team to align with and contribute to the company’s growth strategies.
Participate in planning meetings and contribute ideas that support both short- and long-term business goals.
Candidate Profile
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience.
Strong communication skills in both English and Sinhala.
Good understanding of IT sales processes and IT solutions, with a willingness to deepen knowledge of the technology landscape.
Highly motivated, with a strong aptitude for cold calling and lead generation.
Basic knowledge of proposal writing and marketing content creation.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and on-site engagements.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and align activities with company goals and strategies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, and other relevant tools.
