Executive – Business Development

We are looking for an Executive – Business Development to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, research, and approach potential clients through various channels.
  • Conduct cold calls to generate interest and schedule meetings for the Business Development Team, developing a pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Visit client sites and participate in face-to-face meetings with potential clients to understand their needs, present tailored solutions, and foster relationships that align with the company's growth objectives.
  • Assist in preparing customized proposals and presentations for potential clients, ensuring each aligns with their specific requirements and highlights the value of our IT solutions.
  • Support the creation, management, and distribution of marketing content across platforms to enhance the company’s visibility and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop materials that reflect our services and resonate with target audiences.
  • Maintain accurate records of client and prospect interactions, update CRM systems, and prepare sales reports to track activities and outcomes.
  • Work closely with the Business Development Team to align with and contribute to the company’s growth strategies.
  • Participate in planning meetings and contribute ideas that support both short- and long-term business goals.

Candidate Profile

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Sinhala.
  • Good understanding of IT sales processes and IT solutions, with a willingness to deepen knowledge of the technology landscape.
  • Highly motivated, with a strong aptitude for cold calling and lead generation.
  • Basic knowledge of proposal writing and marketing content creation.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and on-site engagements.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and align activities with company goals and strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, and other relevant tools.
