Intern - Sales
We are looking for an Intern - Sales to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, research, and approach potential clients through various channels. Conduct cold calls to generate interest and schedule meetings for the sales team, developing a pipeline of qualified leads.
- Visit client sites and participate in face-to-face meetings with potential new clients. Understand client needs, present tailored solutions, and foster relationships that align with the company's growth objectives.
- Assist in preparing customized proposals and presentations for potential clients, ensuring that each proposal aligns with their specific requirements and highlights the value of our IT solutions.
- Support the creation, management, and distribution of marketing content across various platforms to boost the company’s visibility and engagement. Coordinate with the marketing team to develop materials that reflect our services and resonate with target audiences.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions with clients and prospects, updating CRM systems and preparing sales reports to track activities and outcomes.
- Work closely with the Sales Team to understand and align with the company's growth strategies. Participate in planning meetings and contribute ideas that support both short- and long-term business goals.
Candidate Profile
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience of 6 months or more in a sales or marketing role in an IT-related company is preferable.
- Strong communication skills in English and Sinhala.
- Good understanding of IT sales processes and IT solutions, with an interest in learning more about the technology landscape.
- Highly motivated with a strong ability to engage in cold calling and lead generation.
- Basic knowledge of proposal writing and content creation for marketing purposes.
- Willingness to travel to meet with clients and engage in on-site interactions.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and align activities with company goals and strategies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, and other relevant tools.
