Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer/ Senior Quality Assurance Engineer/ Associate Quality Assurance Lead

• Perform manual testing of software applications to identify defects and ensure product quality.
• Create and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
• Utilize bug-tracking systems such as JIRA to log, track, and manage reported issues.
• Conduct API testing using Postman to validate functionality and integration points.
• Verify data integrity and perform database testing using MongoDB.
• Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on code quality and testability.
• Implement and maintain automated test scripts using BDD framework (Cucumber and Selenium).
• Utilize CI/CD tools such as GitLab and Jenkins to automate testing and deployment processes.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing methodologies.

Candidate Profile:

• Holds a graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Has 1-5 years of proven experience as a manual tester, preferably in a software development environment.
• Proficient in using bug-tracking systems such as JIRA for defect management.
• Familiar with API testing using Postman and has a basic understanding of RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases for database testing.
• Possesses strong attention to detail and the ability to follow test plans and scripts accurately.
• Exhibits good time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Preference for knowledge in Java programming language.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools like GitLab, Jenkins, etc., and familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS.
• Experience in using BDD framework using Cucumber and Selenium for automated testing is a plus.
