SAP Production Planning Consultant

We are looking for SAP Production Planning Consultant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in end-to-end SAP S/4 HANA PP implementation projects, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, training, and post-implementation support.
  • Utilize specialized knowledge of Fashion Suite within SAP S/4 HANA to address the unique requirements and challenges of the fashion industry, such as seasonality, size/color matrix, and trend forecasting.
  • Configure and customize SAP S/4 HANA PP modules to align with the specific production planning needs of fashion businesses, including material requirements planning (MRP), capacity planning, shop floor control, and production order management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), and FI (Finance), to ensure seamless integration of production planning processes with other SAP modules and external systems.
  • Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and optimize resource utilization within the production planning function.
  • Create comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, configuration guides, and training materials, to support knowledge transfer and user adoption of SAP S/4 HANA PP solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production planning-related issues, providing timely support and guidance to business users to minimize disruptions to operations.
  • Stay updated on the latest SAP S/4 HANA PP trends, features, and best practices through self-learning, training sessions, and participation in relevant industry events.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as an SAP S/4 HANA PP Consultant, with a focus on end-to-end implementation projects.
  • Proven expertise in SAP S/4 HANA PP modules, including but not limited to Production Planning (PP), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Capacity Planning, and Shop Floor Control.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Fashion Suite, particularly in configuring and customizing solutions for the fashion industry.
  • Strong understanding of production planning processes and best practices within the fashion sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • SAP certification in Production Planning is a plus.
