Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test strategies for Data Fabric, data integration, ETL, API, and enterprise data platforms.
• Producing test Artifacts such as Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Cases, and Test Metrics reports
• Providing constructive feedback on test cases/test plans developed by Junior team members
• Reviewing functional and non-functional requirements and specifications
• Building, maintaining, and enhancing test automation frameworks for data validation, API testing, regression testing, and continuous testing.
• Developing and maintaining automated data validation and reconciliation frameworks to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Executing functional, integration, regression, performance, and end-to-end testing across enterprise data solutions
• Leveraging AI-assisted testing tools and intelligent automation solutions to accelerate test design, execution, and analysis.
• Debugging and troubleshooting issues, analyzing root causes with relevant tools, and logging defects in the defect tracking system with adequate information
• Working closely with development teams to shake out bugs early in the development process
• Building and establishing the overall QE process.
• Building and executing performance test suites to evaluate system performance, identify bottlenecks, and ensure the application meets expected performance criteria under varying loads.
• Tracking, analyzing, and reporting key quality metrics such as defect leakage, test coverage, automation coverage, and release readiness.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT or an equivalent qualification
• A minimum of 3 years of work experience in software testing
• Experience in Data Testing, ETL Testing, Database Testing, Data Validation, or Data Migration Testing.
• Experience in test planning, test design, and functionality testing
• Expert knowledge of quality engineering methodologies, automated testing tools and continuous integration systems
• Experience in QE tools such as QMetry, HP ALM, JIRA, and Confluence
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database validation techniques.
• Strong Knowledge of Java, Python, OOP concepts and coding standards
• Must be killed at evaluating existing processes and procedures and making recommendations for improvement; designing proof of concepts that best fit company needs
• A solid practical understanding of Agile Software Testing and Software Engineering concepts
• Effective communication (oral and written) skills including problem-solving, prioritizing, and interpersonal relationship building
• A thirst for learning and regularly updating knowledge
• The ability to work independently and maintain good relationships with the team members
