Quality Assurance Engineer
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Execute functional, integration, API, data validation, and end-to-end testing activities across Data Fabric and enterprise data platforms.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for data pipelines, ETL processes, and business workflows.
- Participate in test planning, requirement reviews, and test case design activities to ensure quality is built into the delivery lifecycle.
- Develop and execute E2E test cases, test scripts, and data validation scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
- Perform data reconciliation, validation, and migration testing to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Support regression testing efforts and contribute to expanding automation coverage for critical business processes.
- Identify, document, and track defects with clear root cause analysis and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Leverage AI-assisted testing tools and automation solutions to improve testing productivity and reduce manual effort.
- Execute performance and load testing activities for critical platform components.
- Support CI/CD pipelines by executing and maintaining automated test suites.
- Monitor and report testing progress, quality metrics, defects, and risks to stakeholders.
- Participate in production validation, release verification, and post-deployment testing activities.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve testing processes, automation capabilities, and overall product quality.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT or an equivalent qualification
- Preferably 1 – 2 years of work experience in software testing
- Sound knowledge of quality engineering practices and processes
- Experience with test automation using Java, Python, Selenium, Playwright or equivalent tools.
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing concepts.
- Experience in Data Testing, ETL Testing, Data Validation, or Data Migration Testing is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Git, or Maven.
- A sound knowledge of Agile software testing and software engineering concepts
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must possess a thirst for learning and regularly updating knowledge
- Testing and Agile-related certifications would be an added advantage
