Key Responsibilities

• Integrate enterprise backend services and workflow engines with AI platforms to enable intelligent automation and conversational workflows.
• Design, develop, and optimize prompts for AI-driven interactions, workflow execution, and contextual response generation.
• Research, prototype, and implement agentic AI architectures capable of autonomous task execution and multi-step reasoning.
• Build AI-powered chatbot and virtual assistant prototypes demonstrating conversational intelligence and workflow automation.
• Research and evaluate LLM fine-tuning approaches, prompt optimization techniques, and model adaptation strategies for enterprise applications.
• Design and develop AI-powered interview assistants and conversational AI solutions supporting voice and real-time interactions.
• Research and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts using vector databases and semantic search technologies.
• Develop, integrate, and test REST APIs connecting AI platforms with enterprise backend systems.
• Improve AI response quality, contextual understanding, and workflow efficiency through prompt refinement and iterative testing.
• Evaluate emerging AI frameworks, tools, and enterprise GenAI technologies, recommending scalable implementation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered business solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and demonstrations for stakeholders.
   

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3 - 4 years of experience in Software Engineering, AI Engineering, or Backend Development.
• Strong programming experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Knowledge of Prompt Engineering and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Understanding of AI agent architectures and conversational AI concepts.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Experience working with Docker and containerized applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Decagon AI or similar enterprise AI platforms.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Agent Playbook concepts or agentic AI frameworks.
• Experience with OpenAI APIs or other foundation model APIs.
• Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, and vector databases.
• Experience integrating AI applications with enterprise backend systems.
• Exposure to chatbot development, workflow automation, or voice AI solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and CI/CD practices.
