Requirements
 

• Hands-on experience with Playwright using TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies, test planning, test case design, execution, and defect management.
• Experience with UI, functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman or Playwright API testing.
• Experience with Git for source code management and version control.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Knowledge of SQL for backend data validation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with mobile testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
• Develop and maintain Playwright automation scripts for UI and API testing.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing for web applications.
• Analyze requirements, create comprehensive test scenarios, and test data.
• Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and Agile ceremonies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, automation frameworks, and quality best practices.
• Leverage AI tools to improve test design, automation development, documentation, and overall QE productivity.
