Key Responsibilities

• Design data models (ERD, star/snowflake schemas) and build warehouse structures (facts, dimensions, CDC).
• Develop database objects (Views, SPs, Functions) and write advanced, performance-tuned SQL.
• Create semantic layers with calculations, aggregates, and filters to support analytics.
• Partners with business and analytics teams to define metrics and reporting standards.
• Ensure data models support performance, scalability, and governed self-service analytics.
• Build datasets in Azure (ADLS, DataSets) to power reporting tools (Power BI, SSRS, etc.).

Candidate Profile

Data Modeling: Logical modeling, ERD, normalization, star/snowflake schemas.

Data Warehousing: Dimensions/facts, CDC, semantic model design.

Advanced SQL & Tuning: Complex queries, optimization, database objects.

Reporting: Experience supporting a major tool (Power BI, BO, Cognos, SSRS).

Azure: ADLS, Containers, DataSets.

Nice to Have

MS Dynamics 365 integration.

Levels

Software Engineer (3-5 yrs): Implementation and development focus.

Senior Software Engineer (5-8+ yrs): Owns architecture, strategy, and mentorship.
